One of the important charter of IETE is to impart continuing engineering education to working
professionals, in the field of electronics, telecommunication, computer & IT, at an affordable cost.
Aim being to earn while you learn and targeting students who cannot afford engineering education
at a regular engineering college. These certifications are for: Diploma(DipIETE),
Graduateship(AMIETE), Post Graduate level(ALCCS) and Dual degree or integrated programmes. The
regulations/Syllabi for all these are drafted by various specialists members from IITs and various
other institutions of repute and are revised periodically. The examinations are conducted at 41 IETE
Centres, at present. These examinations are recognised by Govt of India for superior and sub-
ordinate services and for higher education by large number of Universities and Institutions.
